P.M. UPDATE: Harris Jobe Elementary to raise money for American Cancer Society

From now until May 10, Harris Jobe Elementary students and faculty will be working together to raise money for the American Cancer Society to help fight cancer and raise cancer awareness. The first ever Relay Recess held with Muskogee Public Schools is scheduled for May 10. This main event, a field day, will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. and will include many activities such as the walk for cancer survivors around the track and a school-wide balloon release honoring those who have battled or lost the battle with cancer. There will also be obstacle courses, bounce houses and many more fun and physical activities. An American Cancer Society representative will be present at the event.

Harris Jobe Elementary is located at 2809 N Country Club Road.  The public is invited.
