BREAKING NEWS: Highway in Tahlequah reopened after bomb threat


— Tahlequah Police Department Chief Nate King said sections of Oklahoma 62 that had been blocked off due to a bomb threat have been reopened.

Residents and business owners in the area that had been evacuated are being allowed to return, King said.

Oklahoma 62 was blocked off Thursday afternoon from Willis Road to the Oklahoma 62/82 junction.

King said a suspect has been identified, but has not been placed into custody. Further information is expected at 5 p.m., King said.
