P.M. UPDATE: Eufaula man injured in crash

A Eufaula man was injured in a motorcycle crash in Muskogee County about 12:30 a.m. Thursday, states a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Robert Smith, 52, of Eufaula was taken to EASTAR Health System in Muskogee where he was stable when he was admitted. His condition was unavailable Thursday afternoon.

According to the report, Smith was driving a 2008 Harley-Davidson northbound on Oklahoma 2 at East/West 109 Road, three miles south of Warner and failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle ran off the east edge of the roadway and overturned. Smith was not wearing a helmet. The cause of the crash was listed on the report as driving under the influence of alcohol.
