FG Corn Festival is this weekend

The Fort Gibson Corn Festival is from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

There will be water slides, an inflatable for younger children, a photo booth, a rock wall, a ride called “The Tornado,” and the Sweet Corn Train for youngsters.

Live music will be available both days. The corn shucking and corn eating contests will take place Saturday. Corn and succotash will be available for purchase, as will lemonade.
