Arden Moore of Muskogee High School and Paige Jackson of Warner High School have been selected for Leadership Oklahoma’s Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class XIV.
A class is selected each year through a competitive process based on proven leadership, geographic, ethnic and cultural diversity.
Moore and Jackson will join 50 other Oklahoma high school students for a week-long trip across the state, where they learn about Oklahoma’s history, culture, issues and leaders. YLOK was created in 2001 to develop in young leaders who feel hope, pride and a responsibility for Oklahoma’s future. More than 650 students have participated in the program. In 2008, Leadership Oklahoma was awarded the 2008 Innovator Award from the Southern Growth Policies Board and has been a nominee for the ONE Awards in years 2009 and 2013.
