Coins 4 Critters to shut down store

— Coins 4 Critters is closing its resale shop because of a lack of volunteers, the organization said in a media release. The shop, 3619 W. Broadway, will close Monday, the release said.

Community donations and patronage at the shop assisted with the adoptions of many cats, the release said. The shop also helped raise funds to support the pets in foster care as well as the expense of food, spaying/neutering, vaccinations and associated medical needs.

The organization will continue to accept donated items, other than electronics and large furniture, for participation in the city yard sale and the annual bean supper fundraiser. Information: Coins4Critters.org.
