An inmate considered armed and dangerous has escaped from prison in McAlester, according to the McAlester News-Capital.
Kenneth M. Hammick II, 27, was last seen at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center during the facility’s 6:30 a.m. count Thursday.
Hammick is described as a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 154 pounds.
Hammick has multiple tattoos, including the words “RIP” and “Bad Boys” tattooed on his neck, “Linda” on his left and right arms and a dragon on his left arm.
Hammick was convicted of first-degree burglary and other offenses in Cherokee County in 2004 and possession of a controlled substance in Cherokee County in 2011, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.
