TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee citizen Paula Young is bringing her health care expertise into her new role as Cherokee Nation Home Health Services administrator.
The Tahlequah woman has more than 18 years of experience in health care administration. Young started at the Cherokee Nation on Monday.
Young has bachelor’s degrees in biology and health care administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Cherokee Nation Home Health Services serves more than 500 patients from its offices in Tahlequah, Grove and Salina. Young is responsible for the day-to-day operations, leading providers and overseeing patient needs.
CNHHS Inc. is a tribally incorporated not-for-profit home health care agency – consisting of home health, outreach, and hospice – that is Medicare and Medicaid certified to provide state-licensed home health care to all eligible clients.
