Teen center shifts to summer hours

Activities, classes, meals are offered

Saige Ball, left, Kobe Echols, Tylar Beilhartz, Jayden Derrick and Alejandro Flores spend a rainy afternoon shooting hoops at the Muskogee Teen Center, 322 Callahan St. The Teen Center begins summer hours from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The center is open Monday through Thursday for students entering grades seven through 12 in the fall and will provide a warm meal from 3 to 3:30 p.m. each day. Membership is free, and activities include basketball, soccer, volleyball, Aikido, dance, a computer lab, game room and karaoke, plus special camps and classes throughout the summer.
