Instructor adviser to board

Indian Capital Technology Center Culinary Arts Instructor Georgiann Belton has been selected as the adviser representative to the Oklahoma FCCLA Alumni Board of Directors.

Belton has been a part of the ICTC team since 1988 and has been recognized for many local, state, and national awards including receiving the nation’s highest teaching credential from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, as well as Oklahoma’s Teacher of the Year in FACS, and a finalist for the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year Award.

She has had more than 24 National Food Star winners in student competitions, and her program was one of the Pilot ProStart programs in the state.
