A.M. UPDATE: Historic homes and buildings tour set for Saturday

The 2013 This Place Matters Historic Homes and Buildings Tour will feature some of Muskogee's most historic homes and buildings as well as an art exhibit. Scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, the tour will include the Welch home, Rowsey home, Severs Block, Grace Episcopal Church, the Morgan building and the Five Civilized Tribes Museum.

Tickets for self-guided tours are $12. For a guided tour, ride the trolley from Three Rivers Museum with a $15 ticket. The trolley will leave Three Rivers Museum at 12:15 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at Three Rivers Museum, at each historic home or building on the day of the tour or online at
