John Birch Society pair to speak at meeting

— Two John Birch Society members will be featured speakers today during the second meeting sponsored by the Muskogee Patriot Townhall.

Bob Donohoo, a volunteer section leader in Oklahoma for the John Birch Society, has worked with churches and civic groups to provide a path for members to become effective citizen activists.

Michael Sawyer, a John Birch Society field coordinator in northern Texas, western Arkansas and Oklahoma, will speak about the restoration of a constitutional republic style of government.

The Muskogee Patriot Townhall meets from 6:30 to 9 p.m. the first Thursday each month in the Grant Foreman Room at Muskogee Public Library. Materials are available — some at no cost and some at a nominal cost — to supplement the presentations.

The meetings are free. Information: (918) 577-6352.
