Two arrested Friday in drug case

Muskogee Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit made two arrests Friday after serving a search warrant at an address suspected of drug dealing.

Cherokee Thomas, 19, and Thomas Estes, 32, were arrested on complaints of:

• Possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute; and

• Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officer Matt Burleson said digital scales, plastic bags, smoking devices and other paraphernalia were recovered from the address at 2510 Arline Ave.

Eight suspected meth labs were recovered in a lot to the east of the address, but Burleson said further investigation would be done on those to determine when and where the ingredients were purchased.
