Man accused of setting fire to plead

A Webbers Falls man accused of setting fire to an unoccupied building in May is expected to plead next week.

Edwin Marshall Adams, 25, is accused of “maliciously setting fire” to an unoccupied building at 302 Standwaite Blvd. in Webbers Falls.

Monday he was expected to enter a plea in Muskogee County District Court, but the date was rescheduled.

Adams has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment, said Assistant District Attorney Tim King.

Adams has a new plea hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
