County resident held on meth complaints

A Muskogee County man is in jail for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and items to manufacture the drug.

Christopher Nodine, 34, was arrested Saturday during a traffic stop near Chandler Road and North Utah Street.

Police Cpl. Michael Mahan said Nodine was stopped for a traffic violation in a black Hyundai Tucson. Several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were found in the vehicle, Mahan said.

Officers also found prescription drugs, a large knife and drug paraphernalia on Nodine during a search, Mahan said.

Nodine is being held on $100,000 bond in the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility on complaints of:

• Unlawful carry of a weapon.

• Possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Possession of prescription medicine without a prescription.

• Endeavoring to manufacture.

• No tag or insurance.
