Innovation prizes applications are open

Creative Oklahoma’s 2013 Oklahoma Innovation Prizes application portal is open for submissions.

Oklahoma residents in high school (grades nine-12), college (ages 18-23), or post-higher education (ages 24-35) may apply for a total of $20,000 in available awards. The deadline for submission is Oct. 18.

These three significant Innovation Prizes award and recognize great ideas and creative initiatives that address improvement in quality of life issues in one’s community and state. The idea and initiative must demonstrate the creative process of innovation development. The project must be helpful in improving life quality for citizens within the defined geographic area. Winning entries will receive seed funds to help with idea implementation: $5,000 will be awarded to the winner of the high school category, $5,000 will go to the winning entry in the college category, and $10,000 will be awarded for the best idea in the post-higher education category.
