Woman fit for trial in bomb threat case

A Muskogee woman charged with making two telephone bomb threats was bound over for trial Tuesday.

Jessica Dugger, 39, was deemed fit for trial after a court-ordered competency evaluation, said Muskogee Count District Attorney Larry Moore.

Dugger faces two felony charges of making a telephone bomb threat, and two misdemeanors — resisting an officer and assaulting a police officer.

She was arrested Feb. 6 for allegedly phoning in bomb threats to the Muskogee County Courthouse and Muskogee Police Department.

Dugger waived her right to preliminary hearing and will appear for district court arraignment at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 31, Moore said.
