Warner man charge in domestic case

A Warner man was charged Thursday with five domestic violence felonies in Muskogee County District Court.

Marvin Dale Reece, 45, faces two counts of felony domestic assault, two counts of felony child neglect and one count of felony child abuse.

Court filings state that on Aug. 23 Reece allegedly:

• Hit his child’s mother with a tire iron.

• Exposed his child to domestic violence.

• Pointed a gun at his child.

A separate filing alleges that on Sept. 9 Reece:

• Strangled his child’s mother.

• Exposed his child to domestic violence.

Reece is in the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility with a total bond set at $50,000.

Reece has a sounding docket set for 10 a.m. Oct. 3, where a preliminary hearing will be scheduled.
