Eleventh-grade students in Checotah Public Schools have the opportunity to take a free ACT assessment this fall, according to a media release.
Oklahoma GEAR UP is providing the free ACT assessment to every 11th-grader in the designated 24 Oklahoma GEAR UP school districts as part of its mission to help students better prepare for college.
The ACT assessment typically costs $36.50 per test. This opportunity is available for one designated day and will be administered through the local school site.
ACT test scores reflect what students have learned throughout high school and provide colleges and universities with information for recruiting, advising, placement and retention.
For information regarding the free ACT assessment opportunity, contact the student guidance counselor.
