County Republicans’ fall picnic Tuesday

State Sen. Kim David will be the featured speaker at the Muskogee County Republican Party’s Annual Fall Picnic.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Fort Gibson American Legion Hall, 201 SE Railroad St.

The public is invited.

“As a result of recent re-districting, Sen. David now represents the majority of the Fort Gibson area,” the county party’s chairman, Jerry Huffer, said in a media release. “We thought this would be a great opportunity for the voters to get to know their new state senator.”

State Rep. Arthur Hulbert also will attend.

Admission is $5 per individual, $10 per couple or family.

The menu includes grilled hot dogs and all the fixings.
