Tahlequah street project snags traffic

Cars on Fourth Street in Tahlequah face a detour Monday as a crew works to widen the street at Basin Avenue. Tahlequah is widening Fourth between Muskogee and Basin avenues to add a turn lane, said Clay McAlpine, an engineer with Holloway, Updike & Bellen. The $343,000 project is to be completed by June 24, McAlpine said.
