Boys ponder pond on spring eve

Cousins Brandt Hanson, left, 14, of Braggs and Jackson Webb, 13, of the Midway area, spend Wednesday afternoon looking for turtles, tadpoles, minnows and other pond life at Spaulding Park. Today is the first day of spring. Muskogee’s AccuWeather forecast shows temperatures in the 70s for the remainder of spring break and cooler temperatures during the weekend.
