Police investigate sexual assault case

Muskogee police are investigating allegations an 18-year-old man sexually assaulted two juvenile girls.

A 9-year-old girl told a school counselor that she had been molested by the 18-year-old, police said.

The alleged assault happened about Sept. 4 at her home in the 500 block of North 16th Street in Muskogee.

Another 7-year-old girl reported a similar assault when Oklahoma Department of Human Services questioned the mother and child Monday, said Cpl. Michael Mahan of Muskogee Police.

The man, who was not identified by police, was ordered to leave the home.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, Mahan said.
