A.M. UPDATE: Amber Alert suspect may have switched vehicles
The search continues for a missing boy after an Amber Alert was issued in Cherokee County late Tuesday night.
Sheriff's Investigator Gary Cacy said 3-year-old Kegan Manning was taken from his mother Tabor at about 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
The mother claimed her estranged husband John Michael Manning surrounded her vehicle with three cars and took Kegan, Cacy said.
New information this morning says Manning could now be driving a black 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe with the tag number 524 EUI. The vehicle has a large brush guard on the front.
Tabor Manning was also forced to sign over a handwritten custody agreement, Cacy said.
Investigators were able to track the father's cell phone in the Tulsa area. Cacy said the Tulsa Police Department is currently searching for the boy and his father.
In reaction to a broadcast telling of the alert, John Manning again called the mother and threatened to leave the state, Cacy said.
Kegan Manning was las seen wearing a Tazmanian Devil T-Shirt and blue pants with an orange stripe. He's about three feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds.
An Amber Alert broadcast said John Manning is driving a white 2000 Pontiac at the time of the abduction.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Cherokee County Sheriff at (918) 456-2583.
