BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Plane lands on U.S. 69

An experimental plane landed on U.S. 69, south of Muskogee near Peak Boulevard after the pilot said the engine failed.  No one was injured.

The pilot had flown from Haskell to Davis Field was going back to Haskell when the engine stopped. He said he tried to make it to a field, but he knew he didn't have enough altitude.
