A Park Hill couple were sentenced in federal court Tuesday for being felons in possession of firearm and ammunition, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Mark Alden Mongold, 41, was sentenced to 57 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release. Claudia Marie Moore, 55, was sentenced to 33 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Charges arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Violent Crime Task Force.
Mongold and Moore were indicted in April and pleaded guilty in July.
The couple will remain in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending transportation to the designated federal facility at which they will serve their nonparolable sentences.
