A preliminary hearing for two men charged in Muskogee County’s first homicide of 2013 is set for March 27.
Robert Luis Guerra Jr., 35, and Ryan Shawn Johnson, 21, are held in the Jan. 4 attack, which claimed the life of April Perry, 22, and critically wounded Darrell Perry, 52.
Guerra, who also faces a revocation hearing March 27 on a charge of planning/attempting/conspiring to perform an act of violence, is charged with first-degree murder in Perry’s death. Johnson, who allegedly drove Guerra to and from the scene of the attack, 2405 N. 32nd St., is charged with two counts of accessory to shooting with intent to kill.
Two Muskogee indigent defense attorneys have been appointed to represent the men. Larry Vickers is representing Johnson, and Heather Hilfiger has been assigned to represent Guerra, said Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Moore.
