Sequoyah pair to be delegates to summit

— Diamond Bailey of Rose and Rebecca Castillo of Tahlequah, both students at Sequoyah High School, have been selected to represent Oklahoma as a National Youth Delegate at the 2013 Washington Youth Summit on the Environment at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.

The summit will gather 250 students from across the country to participate in an intensive weeklong study of leadership in environmental science and conservation. The students were chosen based on academic accomplishments and a demonstrated excellence in leadership in the sciences and conservation studies.
