Tahlequah High art students in contest

Tahlequah High School art students have been accepted into “Celebrating Art” national art contest.

Twenty-seven students of Anthony Amason and Shivani Chase had their work accepted into the contest. Students entered two- and three-dimensional works, including drawings, paintings, ceramics and sculpture. Their work will be showcased in a hardbound book to be published early in the spring.

Students are: James Andrew, Alexandria Bennett, Samanna Bennett, Genevieve Biggers, Will Breshears, Chase Brose, Lucy Cao, Tiffany Cochran, Brittanie Copeland, Alexis Girdner, Yecenia Gonzalez, Drake Haworth, Thao Hoang, Brittney Hogan, Brooke Hunter, Aaron Ketcher, Jayden Littlechief, Ian McAlpine, Maribel Miranda, Paola Olivas, Telika Oropeza, Colby Reed, William Shatwell, Darien Taylor, Alexandria Tharp, and Megan Zimbleman.
