Tulsan in hospital after turnpike crash

A Tulsa woman remained hospitalized Friday after a crash on the Muskogee Turnpike.

Brandy Hayes, 35, was listed in fair condition Friday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, a hospital spokeswoman said.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Hayes and three unidentified juveniles were injured at approximately 7:05 p.m. Thursday at mile marker 39, approximately one-half mile south of Muskogee in Muskogee County. Hayes was driving a 2002 Chrysler minivan southbound when the right rear tire blew out, causing Hayes to lose control. The van crossed the grass median and rolled approximately four times before coming to rest on its tires. The juveniles who were injured were treated at St. Francis and released. Everyone was wearing seat belts, the report states.
