Today our Mother has went to be with the Lord and there will be a big void in all of our lives. She has been, Mother, Father and Best friend not only to her children but also to all who knew her. God is getting the most brightest and beautiful star of all. She loved to play bingo, be with friends, cooking and always taking care of someone. She will be greatly missed by all. Wynema Mabrey, born May 2, 1933 in Texanna, Ok. to Roy and Irene Reynolds Casey. She grew up in Texanna where she received her education. In October 1952, she married Donald Mabrey in Okmulgee, Ok. They made their home in Muskogee where she raised six children before moving to Warner, Ok. Her children, Sandra Hamilton of the home; Brenda Lamar of Warner; Phyllis and Randy Whisenhunt of Checotah; Donna and Gene Nothnagle of Warner; Kelly Mabrey of Muskogee, Cleda and Leroy Adams of Porter, Ok. all who survive her. Her infant son, Marcie Casey; her parents, Roy and Irene Casey; Brother, Denton Casey; Sister, Georgia Wright and husband Donald L. Mabrey preceded her in death. Her brothers Kenneth Casey and his wife Maxine of Muskogee; Gene Casey of Checotah; Jack Casey and his wife Frances of Muskogee; Joe Casey and his wife Helen of Checotah also survive her. 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and a very special friend, Ann Owens. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Triplett Cemetery with Reverend Rodger Davis officiating and Mr. Jared Lane reading poem. Raymond Hill, Donald Hill, Ricky Hill, Shannon Butler, Nickolas Nothnagle and Johnny Ogden will serve as casket bearers. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Randy Whisenhunt, Leroy Adams, Gene Nothnagle, Randy Tharp and Kevin Kilpatrick. The family of Wynema Mabrey entrusted her care and services to John and Kim Garrett of Garrett Family Funeral Home, 311 S.W. 2nd St. Checotah, Ok. (918)473-2244.
