Mr. Lentha Porter was born on October 6th, 1917 in Rentiesville, OK to Warren and Willie Wax Porter. He was the sixth child of eleven. Lentha accepted the Lord at a very early age. Lentha grew up and was educated in McIntosh County, OK where he met and married the love of his life Miss Rebecca Gilkey December 8th, 1935. This union was blessed with one child, their son, Clyde. Lentha and Rebecca shared a joyous union of seventy-two years. Lentha was employed by Katy & K.O. & G. Railroad for over twenty one years. Lentha’s first love was praising the Lord, Rebecca, his family, farming and his church family. He always had a tune in his heart and a song on his lips.
