— Joanna Roy, age 41, of Muskogee, OK was born September 9, 1966 in Grand Prairie, TX. She passed away Sunday May 4, 2008 in Muskogee. Joanna lived most of her life in Oklahoma and attended Catoosa Public Schools. She enjoyed gardening, reading the Bible and above all she loved playing with her grandson Jordan.
Joanna was preceded in death by her grandfather; W. C. Bill Banks and Aunt Billye Mae Carrico. Those left to cherish her memory. Her husband; Roosevelt Roy Jr. of the home in Muskogee, Two daughters; Shanelle Christene Livingston, her husband Joshua and their son Jordan Aaron of Van Buren, AR, and Jessica Renee Stanislaw of Muskogee, OK, mother; Regina Moore and grandmother Christene Banks both of Muskogee, OK. Two brothers; Lonnie Kidd and wife Katherine of Inola, OK, Ronnie Kidd and wife Shannon of Claremore, OK, two nephews; Thomas and Jacob Kidd of Inola, OK, three aunts; O’Wana Sexton of Beaumont, TX, Juanita Lee of Muskogee, OK and Virginia King of Collinsville, OK, one uncle; Walter Banks and wife Kathy of Owasso, OK. A special cousin Robert Sexton and a special friend “Grandpa” Roy both of Muskogee, OK. Numerous other family members and a host of friends. Joanna was a faithful member of Chandler Road Church of Christ. She also leaves behind countless brothers and sisters in Christ.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Chandler Road Church of Christ in Muskogee, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Muskogee Cremation & Funeral Service, 1325 N. York Muskogee, OK.
