Published May 19, 2008 10:22 pm - Edward S. Bouldin Jr. 1931 - 2008 Funeral services for Edward S. Bouldin Jr., 77, of Sulphur, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery in Pryor, OK with Chaplain Bill Hearn officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Mr. Bouldin was born February 1, 1931 at Muskogee, OK the son of Edward Bouldin Sr.. and Pauline (Ridley) Bouldin and died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Sulphur, OK. He finished Central High in Muskogee, joined the Navy, attended journalism school and worked on the Navy paper at Great Lakes Naval Station before becoming disabled, and attended Phillips University for a time with some interest in the ministry. He had spent most of his life in the Muskogee area and had attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his two brothers, William S. Bouldin of Metairie, LA, Granville S. R. Bouldin of Murfreesboro, TN; four nephews and one niece.
