Gladys Mae (Wooten) Lane entered this life on October 23, 1938 in Texanna, Oklahoma and went on to be with her Lord and Savior on June 28, 2009 at Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was a retired inspector for Brockway Glass Plant. A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and friend. She will be remembered for her love of singing and music, as well as her generous spirit, never failing kindness, home cooked meals and numerous home remedies. She loved abundantly and was adored by many. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents Harvey 'Earl' and Beulah Mae Parker Wooten of Texanna, Ok. Brothers; Maurice Wooten, Eugene Wooten, Harold Wooten and Floyd Wooten. Sisters; Hazel Simms and Earlene Cone. Her survivors include her husband, Bobby Gene of the home; Children, Lacrisha Hess and husband Dwayne of Texanna, Kimberly Lane of Texanna and Greg Lane and wife Tammy of Texanna; Her Grandchildren, Charity Garner, Stephanie Martin and husband Robert, Jennifer Lane Gillespie and husband Tim, Krystle Lane and Rachael Lane; Two Great-grandchildren Jacob Garner and Mason Martin; Her Brother, J.B. Wooten and his wife Norma; Sisters-in-law, Jeanetta Wooten, Mildred Wooten, Ruby Wooten, Elizabeth Personette and Joanne Moore; Brothers-in-law, Don Lane, James Lane and Lonnie Lane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and host of friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Turner and Reverend Tim Gillespie, officiating. Committal prayers and Interment will follow in Triplett Cemetery with Butch Hagler, John Buckmaster, Robert Martin, Buzz Roberts, Mike Davis, Clay Turner, Owen Vanorden, & JP Buckmaster serving as Casket Bearers.
