Published October 30, 2009 11:43 pm - Iona M. Eutsler 1937 – 2009 Iona M. Eutsler, 72, was born January 19, 1937 to George J. and Margaret (Buss) Buesing in Gothenburg, NB and passed from this earth on October 25, 2009. She was a daycare owner and attended Kingdom Hall. Iona was preceded in death by her husband Walter Gerald Eutsler; her father George Buesing; one brother Kenneth Buesing; one daughter Danielle Mitchell and one granddaughter Daniel Dawn Mitchell. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her mother Margaret Buesing of Gothenburg, NB; one daughter, Margo Shanks and husband Steven of Checotah; two sons Rodney Mitchell and wife Joy of Kearney, NB and Clifford Mitchell; 1 sister Francis Junker; 1 brother Darrel and wife Lucy Buesing all of Gothenburg, NB; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Memorial services for Iona will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hampton Memorial Chapel, Checotah, Ok with the Rev. Steve Dennis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hampton Mortuary, Checotah 918-473-6821.
