Beverly Gail Hayley, known to family and friends as Ginger, passed away in Brownsville, Texas on Sept. 29, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Ginger was born in Muskogee on May 16, 1944, the oldest child of Buck and Peggy Howard Madison. She spent most of her life in Muskogee with the exception of a few years in California. She managed motels, restaurants, and small businesses in Muskogee and Riverside and Tecopa in Calif. and owned her own cafe in downtown Muskogee in the 1990s.
She is preceded in death by her former husbands Corbett Brown and Frank Hayley of Calif., her mother Peggy Howard Purkey and father Emory "Buck" Madison, and grandparents James and Margie Howard, all of Muskogee.
She is survived by her two daughters, Gailynn Brown (Kyle Rody) of Florida and Peggy Lopez (Jose), grandson Kris Snyder, granddaughter Amanda Snyder, and great-granddaughter Kinley Snyder, all of Tahlequah, her sister Vicky Kreider and brother Rick Madison, both of Muskogee, aunt Wilma June Sloan Nance (Farrell) of Stilwell, uncle Jack Howard (Mary) of Tahlequah, three nieces, two nephews, and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation was held privately.
Bradley Funeral Home in Muskogee expedited the return of her ashes to her family and said you could contact them for verification if necessary.
