Rick Horlick

1954 - 2013

Rick Horlick, 59, of Muskogee, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Solara Hospital Muskogee. He was born June 11, 1954 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania to John Lawrence and Ethel Irene (Wood) Horlick. Rick grew up in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1972. He worked at OG&E before starting his career in finance at Citizens Bank where he spent 20 years.

Rick was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He volunteered for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed fishing, camping, photography and playing the guitar in small music gatherings, participating in many jam sessions. Rick loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Laura Jean Hamilton. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Marty Horlick of Richardson, Texas and Andy and Jennifer Horlick of Ft. Gibson; eleven grandchildren, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Pat Horlick of Tampa, FL, Steve and Carolynn Horlick of Katy, TX, Jeff and Cindy Horlick and David and Suzanne Horlick all of Fayetteville, AR and his girlfriend, Jeanette Webster of the home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
