Robert T. Moreno Sr.


Robert T. Moreno, Sr., 55, passed away December 23, 2013 at his home in Hesston.  He was born August 27, 1958 in Upland, California the son of Arthur and Margaret Bonillas Moreno.  He had worked in the heating, air conditioning and plumbing business.  He was a hard worker and committed to supporting his family. He enjoyed socializing with people and making connections with others. He rarely complained. The joy of his life was his children and most recently his 2 grandsons. He taught and coached baseball and basketball and was very supportive of family. 

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Moreno of California, 1 son, Robert Moreno, Jr. of Hesston, and 1 daughter, Julie Burnshire of Pryor, OK, Mother to his children, Maria Mareno of Heston, KS,1 sister Davetta Butler of Hesperia, CA, and 2 grandchildren. 

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Hickory Homes Community Room, Hesston.  A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Gore United Methodist Church, Gore, OK with Pastor Bill Buttram officiating.

 Inurnment will be at a later date.  Memorial may be made to the Robert Moreno, Sr. Memorial Fund in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston, Kansas 67062.
