Donald E. Bemo

1934 - 2013

Donald Bemo, 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 30, 2013.

Donald was born on April 2, 1934, in Muskogee to Jack and Nellie (McFadden) Bemo.

He grew up on Muskogee and attended Muskogee Schools graduating in 1953.

Donald married Faye Elam on May 21, 1955 in Oktaha at Glenda Faye’s parent’s home and has been married for 58 wonderful years. He retired from Kerr McGee 1983; he was a member of Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee. Donald’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, going to the lake with his family on weekends, and making Indian jewelry and going to the mountains.

His survivors are his wife Glenda Faye, daughter Pamela Kay and husband Jeffrey Reganall; son, Jeffery G. and wife Denise Bemo all of Muskogee. 4 grandchildren, Steven and wife Jamie Reganall of Warner, Krista Reganall, Alan and wife Brandy Bemo, Jennifer and husband Mark Ingold all of Muskogee. 6 great grandchildren Alexis and Wesley Reganall of Warner, Brayleigh Reganall, Bailey Kate, Halle Grace and Fisher Bemo all of Muskogee. A brother John David and wife Glenda Mae Bemo.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Nellie, stepmother Sallie Bemo, and a Son Gregory Don Bemo.

Services will be held on Thursday January 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bradley Belltower chapel, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Bemo, Alan Bemo Mark Ingold, Jeff Reganall, Steven Reganall and Kenny Crabtree. Honorary pallbearers are Transic Armstrong, Dub James, Ivan Burge, Levi Haddock Virgil Medley and Tim Elam.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday January 1, 2014, from 1:00 p.m.  To 4:00 p.m. viewing also on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

 The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral and Cremation Service with the arrangements.
