Patrice was born on August 24, 1972 in Sacramento, CA to Mike Dorris and Sandy Ellis. She passed away on October 11, 2012 in Maui, HI.
She moved to Ft. Gibson at a young age and attended Ft. Gibson schools.
In 1991 she married Mark Lawson. They had two wonderful sons, Nathan and Lucas.
After moving to Medicine Lodge, KS, for three years, they moved back to Muskogee. In 2003 Patrice graduated from Connors Nursing Program. She loved being an RN especially the fast pace of ER.
What she loved more than anything in the world were her sons. She told them she loved them at least once a day. They were happy little boys and they are amazing young men. Lucas is serving in the US Navy. Next month Nate will be getting married, buying a home and will begin managing at his job. Patrice was a wonderful mother and she loved to brag about her boys every chance she got. Patrice had a smile that could light up the world and a personality to go with it.
In 2005 Patrice was divorced, a few years later she moved to Hawaii. She made several trips home and was excited about her trip next month for her sons wedding. She will be there in spirit.
