Lynn (Landers) Grant

1947 - 2013

Carol “Lynn” (Landers) Grant, 65, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013.  Lynn was born October 5, 1947, in Muskogee, OK, to Earldean (Walters) Bull and George Moore.

Lynn grew up in Ft. Gibson, OK and graduated from Ft. Gibson High School in 1965. She loved playing basketball and was Football Homecoming Queen.

She retired from Tahlequah Public Works Authority in 2008, where she worked in customer service for over 20 years. She married Michael Grant on March 19, 1991.

Lynn enjoyed living near Lake Tenkiller and tending to her beautiful plants and flower beds. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s ballgames and activities. She especially loved spending time with her family at the lake and pool.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Grant; son Joseph Landers and wife Becky of Muskogee; daughter Stephanie Hutchens and husband Thad of Muskogee; son Jeremy Landers and wife Dee of Ft. Gibson; grandchildren:  Derek Landers, Cale Hutchens, Connor Landers, Dallas Landers and Brooklin Landers; stepchildren: Anja Remington, Trisha Johnston, Devin Grant and Chris Grant;  brother Roger Bull of Muskogee, sister Dena Leach and husband Ronald of Ft. Gibson; brothers George M. Moore, Bob Moore and Mark Moore, all of Edmond.  She is also survived by her mother in law, Helen Grant, stepdad Bill Bull and former sister in law Lisa Bull, and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Country Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah, OK. Officiating will be Brother George Harris.
