Arline E. Kitchens

1927-2014

Funeral Services for Arline Elizabeth Kitchens have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with Pastor Larry McDonald officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.

Arline was born April 23, 1927 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of Arlis and Bessie (Forister) Cundiff. She died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 86 years of age.

Arline was a 1945 graduate of Muskogee High School. She attended OBU briefly, and received her degree from North Eastern. The former Miss Arline Elizabeth Cundiff married Joe T. “JT” Kitchens on June 29, 1967 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. JT preceded her in death on October 20, 2007. Arline was an Elementary School Teacher. She loved her two dogs, “Buddy” and “Puddles”. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Baptist Children's Home, 12700 E. 76 Street N., Owasso, OK 74055.

She is survived by, children, Helen McKee Stopp, Broken Arrow, OK, Robin and wife Patricia McKee, Rogers, AR, Perry McKee, Wagoner, OK.  Grandchildren,  Aimee Denise and her husband Daniel Williams, Broken Arrow, OK, Tyler Daniel McKee, Chicago, IL, Great grandson, Gunnar Alan Williams, Broken Arrow, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, JT.
