Leslie Ann Deere

1965 - 2013

— Leslie Ann Deere, 49, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2013 in Tulsa. She was born January 23, 1964 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Noah Deere and Wilma Rowena Wolfe Washington. Leslie was proud of her Creek heritage. She was a member of Vann Lake Baptist Church in Porter, Oklahoma. Leslie enjoyed doing arts and crafts and she loved to spend time with her family.

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her children, Candise Hake of Okmulgee, OK, Dennis Dobson Jr., of Enid, OK, Natasha Byrd of Muskogee, OK, and Timothy Smith of Enid, OK; her grandchildren, Nathan Byrd Jr. and Nolan Byrd, both of Muskogee; her brother, Joe Washington Jr., of Muskogee; her sisters, Genell Perez of Orlando, FL, Sandra Carey and Janet Washington, both of Muskogee, Jo Lynn Smith of Enid, OK; along with other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Leslie will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Carey and Tommy Hobbs officiating.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 North York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com
