Brad Cantrell

1967 - 2013

— Brad Cantrell, 45, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born November 4, 1967 in Moline, Illinois to Kenneth A. Cantrell and Loretta J. Tacker Cantrell. Brad’s family moved to Oklahoma in the early 1970’s. He grew up in Hulbert where he attended school graduating with the class of 1986. Brad worked for Frito Lay before he joined Love Bottling where he was the Sales Manager for the last 7-8 years.

He met Sharon Billings, the love of his life, on a blind date in October of 2005 and they became the best of friends.

Brad liked old cars and playing music. He loved watching “Mak” and his grandchildren play ball, that was his relaxation. Brad also loved spending time with them; he was known as “Papa Brad.”

Brad and Sharon were members of Southeast Baptist Church.

Brad is survived by the love of his life, Sharon, of the home; his two daughters, Hillary Morse and husband, Bryant, Makenley Billings; his grandchildren, Adyson and Easton Morse, all of Muskogee; his brothers, Bryan Cantrell and wife, Angie, Barry Cantrell, Todd Cantrell and wife, Hetherle, all of Fort Gibson; his parents, Kenny and Jone Cantrell, also of Fort Gibson; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Brad will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at Southeast Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family at
