— Funeral services for John E. Lane, 89, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Mann officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.

John E. Lane was born July 5, 1923 at Muskogee, OK, the son of Sam and Sarah (Taylor) Lane and died Friday, March 29, 2013. He served in the United States Air Force in the South Pacific during WWII. He owned and operated Lane Brothers Auto Body Shop for many years in Muskogee with his brother, Ralph.

He is survived by his brother, Harley and wife, Maddy, of Owasso; sisters, Wilma Gann and husband, John, of Hulbert, Anna Summers of Muskogee, and Ellen McClure of Coweta; 14 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Inez Marks and Wanda; brothers, Bobby Ray, Roy, Berril, and Ralph.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
