Larkin Jesse Tucker III

1948 – 2013

Larkin Jesse Tucker III, 65, of Muskogee, Oklahoma died Thursday, September 19, 2013. He was born February 17, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Larkin Jesse Tucker Jr. and Virginia Sheppard Tucker.

During the Vietnam War, Larkin served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. On February 28, 1970, he and Anne Marie Ford married in Las Vegas. They moved to Oklahoma in 1989. After Anne Marie passed away in 1994, he moved to Muskogee. He married Georgia Kay Hughey in March of 2013. Larkin worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker and taking care of his wife who has been in poor health.

Larkin was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Anne Marie Tucker; two grandsons, Trace Daniel Tucker and Jordan Matthew Strawn; one sister, Anne Simmons and one brother, James Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Kay Hughey Tucker; one daughter, Rocky Tucker of Sapulpa; one son, Larkin Jesse Tucker IV and his wife, Kelly, of Sapulpa; one step-son, Larry Hughey Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Haskell; brothers, Alvin Tucker of Bakersfield, CA and Wayne Tucker of Solon, Maine and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at Fosters’ Ivory Chapel with Mr. Bill Crow officiating. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be made at www.foster-petering.com
