Kathy Louise Jackson

1960-2013

Kathy Louise Jackson, 53, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her home. She was born March 11, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to LC Isaacs and Betty L. Montgomery Isaacs. Kathy grew up and attended school in Stilwell, graduating in 1978. She attended Northeastern State University obtaining both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Kathy taught at a number of schools in Oklahoma, Texas, and Maryland during her career.

Kathy was baptized on October 18, 1970 at First Christian Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma, where she later married Brian Kelly Jackson on August 9, 1985.

Kathy was a long time member of Grace Bible Church in Muskogee.

She was preceded in death by her father, LC Isaacs; and her nephew, Gary Andrew Jackson.  

Kathy is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Katie Harlin and husband, Caleb; son, Jonathan Jackson, all of Muskogee; her mother, Betty Isaacs; brother, Roger Isaacs, both of Stilwell; her sister, Donna Jackson and husband, Todd, of Broken Arrow; niece, Tabitha Jackson of OKC; nephews, Joseph Jackson of Lake Mary, FL.; Seth Jackson of Broken Arrow, her father and mother-in-law, Gary and Betty Jackson; and other family members and friends.

Memorials can be made to Gideons International, PO Box 204, Muskogee, OK., 74402-0204.

Graveside service for Kathy will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Brad Schell officiating. Interment will follow with John “Nubbin” Silver, Steve Whittinghill, Norman Gilbertson, Frankie Heytz, Stan Anthis, and Ryan Fenska serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Merrill, Don Walkwitz, Gale Schell, Louis Cuevas, Norman Hughes, Craig Harlin, and Dale Jones.
