Dana Mae Webb


Dana passed away Wed., Dec. 11, 2013, at her home at the age of 76.

The daughter of Paul William and Bernice (Koots) Martin was born March 14, 1937, in Ft. Gibson.  On Sept. 5, 1953, Dana married Vernal Carlton “Carl” Webb in Wagoner.  They have made their home in Chelsea for the past 15 years.  Dana was an active member and prayer warrior at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading and studying her Bible every day.  Dana loved spending time with her children and family.  She was an excellent wife and mother, and was an awesome grandma.

Dana is preceded in death by her mother, Bernice East;  father, Paul Martin;  step-father, Sosbee East;  brother, Everett Martin;  and great granddaughter, Faith Ross.

She is survived by her husband, Carl of the home;  children:  Carlene Taque and husband, Don of Claremore, Richard Webb of Catoosa, and Brenda Gray and husband, Aaron of Claremore;  brother, Paul Martin and wife, Janice of Midwest City;  grandchildren:  Charles Webb, Elisha Hill, Heather Compton, Laura Ross, Amber Pennington, and Hannah Jones;  great-grandchildren:  Chelsea Webb, Jacob Compton, Garret Compton, Morgan Webb, Bailey Webb, Raymond Pennington, and Gabrielle Hill;  great-grandchild, Avery Webb;  and nephew, Samuel Martin of Fort Worth, TX.

Funeral service for Dana Mae Webb will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Clark officiating.  Burial will follow at Sixkiller Cemetery, Afton, under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 5-7 p.m.
