Funeral services for James Arthur Young are 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Green Country Funeral Home.  Officiating will be The Minister Dan Rouse. Pallbearers are Bryan R. Young, Justin Young, Nicholas Young, Dean Kelley, Jacob Keeling and Jimmy Trammel. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. James Arthur Young was born November 9, 1932, in Park Hill, Oklahoma to Scott Young and Viola (Terrell) Young. He passed away on June 2, 2014, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

James is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharron Young; son-in-law, Mark Daniel; and granddaughter, Brinne Cole; four bothers, Bob, Albert, Lloyd, and Harvey; and sister, Melba.

He is survived by his wife Dovie of the home; son, Bryan (Ty) Young and wife Tina of Muskogee, OK; daughters, Donna Daniel of Tulsa, OK; and Susan Young; five grandchildren, Nicholas also of the home, Bryan R. Young, Lindsey Keeling, Drew Daniel, Chloe Daniel; twelve great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Lundsford; and many extended family members, friends and loved ones.
